Best Softball Glove
Which is the best sofball glove is relative to the ball player? to make that decision, you need to ask yourself several other questions. The answers of which will steer you to the best softball glove for your needs. First, what position do you play? Each position on the field has a glove size or model that is designed for that position. Middle infielders tend to use a small glove, pitchers should use a glove with a closed web to conceal grips of pitches. Outfielders use larger gloves to help contain the ball on difficult catches. First base and the catcher position have glove models designed specifically for their corresponding positions. There are other things to consider when looking for the best softball glove.
Fastpitch or Slow Pitch Softball Glove
Do you need a fastpitch or slow pitch softball glove? Typically the difference between fastpitch and slow pitch softball is the gender of who is playing. Women predominantly play fastpitch softball. So, fastpitch softball gloves tend to have a smaller hand opening and often come with a velcro strap to help secure the fit of the glove. Men predominantly play slow pitch softball, so those models tend to have wider hand openings and come in larger sizes up to 15 inches.
