Adult Softball Bats

There are two types of adult softball bats. They are slow pitch softball bats and fastpitch softball bats. The league you play in will dictate which bats you can use. When it comes to adult softball bats there may also be other restrictions as well. Some leagues and tournaments require a specific stamped certifications from one of the major softball associations. The two major associations are ASA and USSSA.In addition to certification restrictions you may find that your league or tournament does not allow composite bats or softball bats with a double wall.

Slow Pitch and Fastpitch Softball Bats

The main difference between slow pitch and fastpitch softball bats is lenght and weight drop. Slow pitch softball bats are all 34 inches in length. The weigh between 26 and 30 ounces typically. Fastpitch softball bats are variable lengths typically between 28 and 34 inches and have weight drops from -8 to -13.
